How to troubleshoot industrial chiller compressor overload failures?

Maintain a distance of more than 50cm between the chiller outlet (fan) and obstacles, and more than 30cm between the chiller inlet (dust filter) and obstacles. (For CW-5000 model chillers, maintain a distance of more than 30cm between the rear outlet and obstacles), and more than 8cm between the side inlet and obstacles.

Causes of chiller compressor overload failure:

1. Check for refrigerant leaks in the chiller's copper tube welds;

2. Observe whether the surrounding area of the chiller is well-ventilated;

3. Check if the chiller's dust filter and condenser are clogged with dust;

4. Check if the chiller fan is working normally;

5. Check if the chiller voltage is normal;

6. Check if the compressor starting capacitor is within the normal range;

7. Check if the chiller's cooling capacity is less than the heat generated by the load;

8. Compressor malfunction, high operating current, abnormal noise during operation;

Solutions for chiller compressor overload:

1. Refrigerant leaks will leave oil stains. Observe carefully. If a refrigerant leak occurs, contact our after-sales service personnel for assistance;

2. Maintain a distance of more than 50cm between the chiller outlet (fan) and obstacles, and more than 30cm between the chiller inlet (dust filter) and obstacles. (For CW-5000 models, maintain a distance of more than 30cm between the rear outlet and obstacles, and more than 8cm between the side inlet and obstacles);

3. Regularly remove dust depending on the machine's operating environment;

4. The fan starts simultaneously with the compressor. If the fan does not start, check if the fan is malfunctioning;

5. Provide the voltage and frequency indicated on the machine's nameplate. If the voltage fluctuates greatly, it is recommended to install a voltage regulator.

6. Use a multimeter to measure the capacitance and check the capacitor surface for damage;

7. Choose a chiller with a cooling capacity greater than the heat generated;

8. Contact the manufacturer to replace the compressor with the same model;
