Why would a screw chiller experience a three-phase power failure, and how can it be resolved?

There are four reasons for a screw chiller "three-phase power failure": the power is not connected, the fuse is blown, the power voltage is unstable or the phase sequence is incorrect, and the transformer is damaged. The troubleshooting methods and solutions are as follows:

There are four reasons for a "three-phase power failure" in a screw chiller: the power is not connected, the fuse is blown, the power voltage is unstable or the phase sequence is incorrect, and the transformer is damaged. The troubleshooting methods and solutions are as follows:

Step 1

First, we need to check if the workshop is out of power and if the power is not properly plugged in. This is usually indicated by the fact that other equipment in the workshop is not working, or the screw chiller power plug is not properly plugged in, causing the equipment to be unpowered, resulting in a three-phase power failure.

Solution: Check the chiller power wiring section by section for any broken wires, and check if the power plug is damaged or aging. If so, repair the wiring or replace the plug and wiring.

Step 2

If the workshop current is unstable or a short circuit occurs, causing the fuse to blow, it will also cause a "three-phase power failure".

Solution: Replace the fuse with a new one.

Step 3

When the chiller is powered on, this fault code often appears due to unstable voltage, undervoltage, overvoltage, or missing phase, incorrect phase sequence, or failure of the phase sequence protector, causing a power failure.

Solution: For unstable voltage, check if the transformer and other components are damaged; check if the phase sequence is correct and correct it by swapping any two phase wires; replace the damaged phase sequence protector.

Step 4

Transformer damage can cause undervoltage and overvoltage failures. In this case, the transformer needs to be repaired. Generally, a "three-phase power failure" is caused by the above four reasons. By troubleshooting from easy to difficult, the real cause of the failure can be found step by step. If the manufacturer encounters this problem, the power problem can be checked first, such as whether the power plug is aging and causing poor contact, leading to this fault code.
